The post-war Fisher Body Craftsman Guild—sponsored by Fisher Body Division of General Motors under the direction of Harley Earl.  This program was presented to high school seniors, tasking their skills to design the look of the future.  This gave Fisher Body an insight of what the coming generation wanted to see.  Many students won a scholarship for their education and many later went on to become engineers of Detroit's automotive world.

The following 23-pg instruction book was published by General Motors in 1956 and today is a rare piece of history showing how this company has always been instrumental in working with future generations of engineers.  The booklet contains all sorts of instruction on how to design and build a model car.
