After World War II, especially during his eight years serving as President of the United States, Ike Eisenhower always understood who was the mastermind behind GM's long-term success...in the modern era.

Because of his giant contributions made to the Arsenal of Democracy (primarily done under the radar screen before, during and after the war), Harley Earl was an accepted advisor to top echelon members of the U.S. military. But, for too many reasons to list right now, the media and the public were never invited in to understand this unique alliance.

Not to be redundant, but as one can see (above on left side) Ike Eisenhower had requested an autographed picture of Harley Earl's dramatic climax in sheet metal, Le Sabre. What's perhaps so powerful today, is that GM is presently starting to release the story behind their most important contemporary artist / engineer of the 20th Century.
